We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Aleandro Brown as the new Executive Chef at Soul Mama Music Venue and Restaurant. Aleandro brings a wealth of experience and a fresh, creative vision to our kitchen, promising to elevate our dining and live music experience to new heights. 

Aleandro's culinary journey began in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica, where he learned the art of cooking from his grandmother. She instilled in him a deep appreciation for Caribbean flavours and traditions. 

His passion for cooking and his innovative approach have led him on an impressive career path, marked by a series of prestigious culinary appointments.

After moving to the UK

Aleandro honed his skills within the Gordon Ramsay group, working at renowned establishments such as the Savoy, Maze, Royal Hospital Road, and London House restaurants. His talent and dedication saw him become a key member of the team at The Ritz London, contributing to the restaurant's achievement of its first Michelin Star. Aleandro’s culinary prowess was further showcased at the esteemed Savoy Hotel / Savoy Grill and the highly acclaimed Helen Darroze at The Connaught (3 Michelin Stars), Sketch London (3 Michelin Stars), and Soho Farmhouse. His time at these top-tier venues allowed him to refine his craft and develop a distinctive style that seamlessly blends innovation with tradition.

 

With an ambition to become the first Jamaican chef to earn a Michelin Star, Aleandro is known for his ability to infuse Caribbean classics with a unique fusion twist. His dishes are a testament to his creativity and dedication to pushing culinary boundaries while honoring his roots. At Soul Mama Music Venue and Restaurant, Aleandro will bring his trademark style and passion to our kitchen, creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. We are excited to embark on this new culinary journey under his leadership and look forward to the exceptional dishes he will bring to our table.
